Please introduce yourself

Hi, I'm Rebecca. I was born in the UK, but for most of my teen years, I lived with my family in West Cork, Ireland. Then I moved to Scotland, followed by London, finally landing in sunny Brighton over six years ago.

How long have you been at Moss?

Since October 2022.

Why do you love working at Moss?

I love working at Moss because of the way I am made to feel – like family. The welcome and support I have had over the past few months has been fantastic. Most of all, it is all about my people. Watching them grow and flourish within their roles is magical. Without them, the store would not have the soul and success it has achieved already and very excited for our future.

What makes the Brighton store special?

My people make a difference to our customers’ lives day in, day out. Giving them such world-class service that our customers see Moss as their only destination to shop for the ultimate experience.

What’s your favourite part of the store?

My favourite part of the store has to be our Custom Made area. The unique service we offer our customers can’t be found anywhere else on the high street. This year, I predict big results for our CM sales.

Have you had any special interactions with customers lately?

Yes, every interaction is unique. We have so many characters that walk through our doors every day. One particular had to be Leo Suter from Vikings Valhalla who came in for a kilt to a red-carpet event!

What’s your favourite piece in the collection right now?

The entire collection. From our new, bright colour palettes to our very beautiful Custom Made. Our new direction is extremely inspiring and it’s very exciting to see where the brand is going.

Is there another place near the Brighton store you frequent?

Buying vinyl and books from The Brighton Laines. My favourite thing has to be sitting on the Brighton pebbled beach staring out at the sea with my partner watching the sun set.
